Serene Kwek

Serene has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked with renowned international hotel chains such as The Shangri-La Group. Throughout her career, she effectively led catering teams and managed various events, including large conventions and F&B operations. Her exceptional service earned her multiple EXSA STAR awards from the Singapore Hotel Association. During the pandemic, Serene joined the Ministry of Manpower as an Advisory Manager, where she provided workforce-related advisories and received the MOM Outstanding Customer Service Award in 2023.

As an adjunct trainer with Shatec Institutes, she imparts knowledge to aspiring hoteliers, focusing on leadership, communication, and decision-making.
